Pre-Angkor temples of Roluos group and Kampong Phluk
Overview
In the 9th century, the capital of the pre-Angkor Khmer empire was moved from the Kulen Mountains to Hariharalaya where the Roluos group of temples can now be found. This tour will include the visit of the main Roluos temples as well as a visit to a nearby fishing community at Kampong Phluk, on the shore of the Tonle Sap Lake.

Itinerary
Full-day tour from Siem Reap.
The morning will be spent exploring the Roluos Group of temples including Preah Ko which was erected by Indravaravan I in the late 9th century and dedicated by the king to his ancestors in 880. The visit will continue with the Bakong, the largest and most interesting temple of the Roluos Group, with his active Buddhist monastery just to the north of the east entrance. Finally, the Lolei temple, with its characteristic four brick towers.
In the afternoon, the tour will move to Kampong Phluk, a flishing village located on the shore of the Tonle Sap Lake. There you will be able to observe the daily life of the communit
