Overview

The Dei Ey Community Forest is a 3-day eco-tourism and trekking experience in Mondulkiri that offers visitors the opportunity to explore the Mondulkiri Protected Forest, learn about the culture of the Phnong indigenous community, and walk alongside elephants in their natural habitat. The journey includes moderate trekking, wildlife and bird watching, riverside forest camping, and discovering one of Southeast Asia’s largest protected forest landscapes within the Eastern Plains biodiversity hotspot.

What to bring

Three changes of clothes, long pants and shirt with sleeves during the trek, good hiking shoes, sunscreen, hat, mosquito repellent, flashlight, sandals for village, sarong for bathing (required for women), camera, toilet paper.
