The route toward the outskirt of city will bring you to witness the real lifestyle of Cambodian locals accompanied by beautiful rice-paddy landscapes and local villages along the way. Upon arrival at the hilltop, visit the 1000 Linga River where lingas were carved at the bank and under the river. The lingas symbolize God Shiva and were carved to purify and fertile the water (holy water) and finally irrigate the rice fields. Next visit Buddhism temple, Preak Ong Thom where Khmer traditional live music called Phin Pheat is being played by the local musicians to pray for the huge Reclining Buddha located on the hilltop. Enjoy swimming before returning back to the city.
Then going to visit Banteay Srei temple, the pink sandstone construction temple built by king Rajendravarman V in late 10th century. Walls of Banteay Srei temple its self are densely covered with some of the most beautiful, deep and intricate carving of any Angkorian Templ
